The Panasonic Ratti Chhatr Scholarship (PRCS) is a CSR initiative by Panasonic Life Solutions India aimed at empowering talented but economically challenged students pursuing B.E./B.Tech courses at IITs across India. This merit-cum-means scholarship supports first-year engineering students who have secured admission into IITs and come from families with an annual income below 8 lakh.
Through an annual financial grant, the program reduces the financial burden on deserving students, enabling them to focus on academic excellence. Annual Financial Support of 70,250:
Selected students receive 70,250 per year to cover academic expenses such as tuition fees, books, materials, and other educational needs.
Support for Entire UG Program:
The scholarship is renewable every year for up to four years, provided the student maintains the required academic performance.
