The Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students – Haryana is a government scheme that provides financial assistance to students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category after Class 10. The main aim of the scheme is to support SC students in pursuing higher education without financial burden. It helps students studying in Class 11–12, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, Professional and Technical Courses in recognized institutions of Haryana or outside the state (as per rules).
The scheme covers maintenance allowance, reimbursement of tuition fees, examination fees, and other compulsory fees charged by institutions. It ensures that students from economically weaker SC families can continue their studies smoothly and reduce drop-out rates after matriculation.
The student must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
The student must be a domicile of Haryana (i.e., permanent resident of Haryana).
Annual family (parents/guardians) income should not exceed 2.50 lakh per annum. Haryana CBC+2National Scholarship Portal+2
The student must be enrolled in post-matric education: this can be classes 11–12, or higher education (undergraduate, postgraduate, etc.) at a recognized institution.
Attendance criteria: many notifications require a minimum attendance (often ≥ 75%) to remain eligible.
Full Reimbursement of Tuition Fees
All non-refundable compulsory fees charged by the institution are reimbursed.

Allowance for Special Courses

Support for Students Studying Outside Haryana

No Tuition Fee for Government Institutions
