The Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students is implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students studying from Class XI to Post-Graduation, including professional courses, diploma, vocational training, and PhD.
The scholarship covers compulsory fees + monthly stipend, paid directly to the student's bank account (DBT).
This scheme applies to students studying in recognized government, private, central, state, and accredited institutions.

Polytechnic, ITI, Diploma institutes
NCVT vocational institutes
Students studying in Top Class Institutions covered under another MoTA scheme
Students who have completed one stream and want another (e.g., BA → BCom)
Full non-refundable compulsory fees are covered.
Fee ceilings for private institutes:
Engineering: up to 2.5 lakh/year
MBBS/MS/MD: up to 6 lakh/year
Other courses: up to 1 lakh/year
Fees are paid directly through DBT.
