To apply for the scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a girl student.

• Must be enrolled in an AICTE-approved Technical Diploma programme.

• Should be studying in 1st year or 2nd year through lateral entry.

• Family income should be below 8 lakh per annum.

• Admission must be obtained through centralized or state-level counseling/merit.

• Only one girl child per family is eligible. (In special cases, two may be considered.)

• ?50,000 per year towards academic expenses such as:

  • Tuition fees

  • Books

  • Stationery

  • Software, equipment, laptop/desktop, etc.

• Scholarship is provided for the full duration of the diploma (3 years or as applicable).

• Amount is transferred directly to the student's bank account via DBT.

• Aadhaar Card

• Recent Passport-size Photograph

• Admission Letter

• Bonafide Certificate from Institution

• Marksheet of 10th/12th (as applicable)

• Family Income Certificate (issued by competent authority)

• Bank Passbook (student’s name must match)

• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) – if applicable

• Domicile Certificate

• Disability Certificate – if applicable

• Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

• Register as a new user and complete profile details.

• Select:
  AICTE → Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students (Technical Diploma)

• Fill the application form with academic & personal details.

• Upload all required documents in the correct format.

• Submit the form and take a printout for reference.

• Institution will verify the application online.

• AICTE will process and release the scholarship amount through DBT.
