To apply for the EDGE Scholarship, students must submit:

• 10th & 12th marksheets (or qualifying exam)

• Caste/category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable)

The aim of the scholarship is to ensure affordable, accessible, and high-quality education by reducing tuition fee burden for eligible students.

The EDGE Scholarship covers students across multiple programs such as:

• Computer Applications

• Education, and more

The scholarship is awarded based on academic performance, category, special achievements, and socio-economic background.

Eligibility varies depending on the scholarship category, but general criteria include:

A. Academic Merit-Based Eligibility

• Must have passed the previous qualifying exam (10+2, Diploma, Graduation) with a minimum 50%–60% marks, depending on the program.

• Higher scholarships are awarded for 80%–95%+ marks.

B. Category-Based Eligibility

Certain discounts or scholarships may apply for:

• SC / ST / OBC candidates

• EWS (Economically Weaker Section)

• Single girl child

• Children of defense personnel

• Students with disabilities

• Students from economically challenged backgrounds

C. Special Achievement Eligibility

Additional scholarships may be offered for:

• Sports achievers (State/National level)

D. General Requirements

• Must be taking admission in a regular full-time program at Rayat Bahra University.

• Must not be availing any other major fee waiver from RBU on the same basis.

• Must meet all admission criteria for the chosen course.

The Rayat Bahra EDGE Scholarship provides multiple types of financial relief:

A. Fee Waiver Based on Merit

Depending on the marks in the qualifying exam:

• 95% & above: Up to 100% scholarship

• 90%–94.99%: Up to 75% scholarship

• 85%–89.99%: Up to 50% scholarship

• 80%–84.99%: Up to 25% scholarship

B. Sports Scholarship

• State Level Achievers: 25% to 50% fee waiver

• National Level Achievers: 50% to 100% fee waiver

C. Special Category Scholarships

• Single Girl Child: 10%–20% scholarship

• Children of Defense Personnel: 10%–25% scholarship

• Differently-abled students: 10%–50% scholarship

• Orphan students: Up to 100% fee waiver

D. Early Admission Scholarship

Students applying early in the academic cycle may get an additional fee concession.

E. Alumni Scholarship
