On the 90th birth anniversary of Reliance’s Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani in December 2022, Mrs Nita Ambani, Reliance Foundation Founder and Chairperson, announced that 50,000 scholarships would be awarded over 10 years with the belief that the best way to ensure the nation’s progress is to invest in its youth. Over the years, Reliance Foundation scholarship programmes have positively impacted the lives of 28,000 youth across India.
Since 2022-2023, Reliance Foundation has been supporting 5,100 students annually, including 5,000 meritorious undergraduate students from underprivileged sections of society studying any stream of their choice through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, and 100 of India's brightest postgraduate students, studying eligible subjects in select future-ready courses from Engineering, Technology, Energy & Life Sciences through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships.
Both the Reliance Foundation Scholarships aim to nurture and empower meritorious students and will work together to build robust, vibrant and engaged alumni networks, enabling scholars to pursue higher education, emerge as young professionals, and drive India’s growth.
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Candidates must qualify through one of the two routes:
Valid GATE score of 550–1000
(For PG courses where GATE is accepted)
Minimum CGPA of 7.5 or equivalent in undergraduate degree.
Must be enrolled in first year of PG program during 2025–26.
Students in 2nd year or later are NOT eligible.

MBA / General MA / M.Com / Social Work (non-science)
Distance/Part-time/Online PG programs
Students outside the listed STEM or Life Science fields
Scholars receive up to 6 lakh for the entire duration of their PG degree.
Covers tuition fees, academic expenses, research needs, and development costs.
Each academic year, 80% of the scholarship amount is released upfront.
Helps students pay tuition and other essential educational expenses without delay.
