AU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AUCPS) is the pharmacy faculty of Andhra University, one of India’s oldest and respected universities located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The pharmacy program’s roots date back to the 1930s, and a dedicated Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was formed in 1975.
It became a constituent college of Andhra University in 2006, offering pharmacy education with modern facilities and a rich academic tradition.
The college has the distinction of being the first in India to start a pharmaceutical biotechnology division.
