Gujarat Ayurved University (GAU), located in Jamnagar, Gujarat, is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious universities dedicated exclusively to Ayurvedic education, research, and healthcare. Established in 1967 by the Government of Gujarat, it operates under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). Selection: Centralized counseling based on AIAPGET ranks.

3. Ph.D. (Ayurveda):

Eligibility: MD/MS (Ayurveda) or equivalent.
Admission Basis: Written entrance test and/or interview conducted by GAU.

4. Diploma & Certificate Courses:

Eligibility: Varies by program (generally 10+2 or BAMS for advanced courses).
Admission Basis: Merit or direct admission depending on seat availability.
