The National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), located in Karnal, Haryana, is India’s premier institute for dairy science education, research, and extension. Established in 1955 (with origins dating back to 1923), NDRI functions under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India.
