University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) is a state–private university located in Ri?Bhoi District, Baridua (Meghalaya, India) and was established under the University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya Act, 2008. The university started functioning in 2011 and is sponsored by the Education Research & Development Foundation (ERDF), Guwahati.
USTM aims to provide quality higher education, develop research excellence, and nurture innovation and entrepreneurship among students. It focuses on producing competent graduates who can contribute significantly to regional and national development.
Located on a picturesque campus on the Assam?Meghalaya border, USTM is well connected by rail and air — 15?km from Guwahati Railway Station and 30?km from Guwahati International Airport.
