About M.Pharm Pharmacology :
The Faculty of Pharmacy offers a two year post graduate specialisation in Pharmacology which seeks to provide the students with them with the much need understanding in reagrds to the various aspects of the field of pharmacy. Pharmacology field is a unique and dynamic branch of pharmacy, which involves the understanding of how a drug deals with the human body and how the human body responds to drug. Through this program, the students are taught the various treament modalities and the processes which are involved with the administration of medication drugs. The curriculum of this post graduate program has been strategicall designed in such a way which focuses on research-oriented modules like Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance. The Faculty focuses on imparting within the students the much needed practical training and understanding and training regarding this field, as it is equipped with various laboratories and facilities for research and experiementation. In addition to this, as a way of gaining an indepth understanding into the various patient needs and care, the Faculty is attached to 750 bedded multi-specialitiy hospital which provides effective clinical training thoughout this course.
