As a way of meeting this demand, the Faculty of Pharmacy offers a two Masters degree specialisation in Industrial Pharmacy which seeks to provide the students with an indepth and comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of the industry. Industrial Pharmacy is a discipline which includes manufacturing, development, marketing and distribution of drug products including quality assurance of these activities. This broad research area relates to different functions in the pharmaceutical industry and having contact areas with engineering and economics. While pursuing this program, the students will get to learn the complex and multi-factorial environment, with the overall aim of manufacturing, developing and marketing safe and efficacious medicines including quality assurance of these activities.
