Assam GNM Nursing Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria laid down by the admission authorities to seek admission to the GNM Nursing course in Assam. The detailed eligibility criteria are as follows: 

  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognized board/examination board in any stream- Science, Commerce, and Arts with an aggregate of 45% marks in Higher Secondary Examination are eligible for the course.
  • The age of the candidates must be between 17-35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHS. 

The exam is a standardized test with a total of 100 questions, focusing on English, Mathematics, and General Science, all at the 10th standard level. The questions are multiple-choice and available in both English and Assamese, but the answers must be written in English on the OMR sheet. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
