The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic), commonly known as JEECUP, is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. It is held for admission to Diploma (Polytechnic) courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and other streams offered by government, aided, and private polytechnic institutions across Uttar Pradesh.

General Eligibility

  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen

  • Must satisfy Uttar Pradesh state domicile requirements (for state quota seats)

Educational Qualification (Group-wise)

Group A (Engineering Diploma)

  • Passed Class 10 (SSC) with:

    • Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects

Group B (Agriculture Engineering)

  • Passed 10+2 with:

    • Agriculture / Science subjects

Group C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K (Other Diplomas)

  • Qualification varies by group (10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma)

Minimum Marks

  • General / OBC: Minimum 35% aggregate

  • SC / ST: No minimum marks requirement

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 14 years (as on 1 July of the admission year)

  • No upper age limit

Registration Process

  2. Click on “Apply Online”

  3. Register using:

    • Valid email ID

    • Mobile number

  4. Fill in the online application form:

    • Personal details

    • Educational qualification

    • Group/course selection

  5. Upload required documents:

    • Signature

  6. Pay the application fee online

  7. Submit the form and download the confirmation page

  8. Take a printout for future reference
