The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially invited online applications for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026. The entrance examination is conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, NCISM, and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) for admission to postgraduate AYUSH programmes across India.

According to the official notification issued on 10 July 2026, eligible candidates can submit their online application forms through the official AIAPGET portal from 10 July to 30 July 2026.

• Last Date to Apply: 30 July 2026 (up to 9:00 PM)
• Last Date for Fee Payment: 30 July 2026 (11:59 PM)

AIAPGET 2026 Exam Pattern

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

• Total Questions: 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Maximum Marks: 480

The examination will be conducted in the following languages:

• Ayurveda: Hindi & English
• Homoeopathy: English only
• Siddha: Tamil & English
• Unani: Urdu & English

Admissions Through AIAPGET 2026

AIAPGET 2026 will serve as the single entrance examination for admission to MD/MS postgraduate programmes under:

• Ayurveda
• Unani
• Siddha
• Homoeopathy

The examination score will be used for admissions to:

• All India Quota (AIQ) Seats
• State Quota Seats
• Government Colleges
• Private Colleges
• Universities
• Deemed Universities offering AYUSH postgraduate programmes across India.

New Security Measures Introduced

To enhance the security and transparency of the examination, NTA has introduced several new measures for AIAPGET 2026:

• Aadhaar-based authentication during application submission.
• Live photograph capture while filling the application form.
• UDID-based verification for PwD/PwBD candidates claiming reservation benefits.
• Improved identity verification during the admission process.

Examination Cities

AIAPGET 2026 will be conducted in approximately 122 examination cities across India, covering all major states and Union Territories.

NTA has advised candidates to carefully read the Information Bulletin before submitting the application form and ensure they fulfil all eligibility conditions, including educational qualifications, internship completion, registration requirements, and other prescribed criteria.
