Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the final seat allocation list for the second round of counselling for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing admissions for the 2026–27 academic session.

According to the notice dated October 22, 2026, candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective institutes on October 23 or October 24, 2026, to complete the admission process.

The university has clarified that candidates must download their provisional allotment letter through the candidate login before approaching the allotted college. Admission will not be considered without seat allocation issued by AMRU.

Documents and Instructions for Candidates

Candidates should download their provisional allotment letter from the candidate login and carry the required documents when reporting to their allotted institutes.

Candidates claiming reservation or any special quota benefit must ensure that their certificates and supporting documents are valid, updated and prepared in the format specified in the official prospectus.

The university has issued the following important instructions:

• Verify category documents: Reserved-category and quota candidates must ensure that all relevant certificates are valid and meet the prescribed requirements.

• Update documents if required: Candidates should arrange updated certificates or obtain documents in the prescribed format before completing admission formalities.

• Check eligibility carefully: Invalid, outdated or missing documents may result in the rejection of the claimed category or quota benefit.

• Download the allotment letter: Candidates should approach their allotted institutes only after downloading the provisional allotment letter through the candidate login.

• Follow institute verification: Final eligibility and category claims will be subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.

Provisional Allotment Does Not Guarantee Admission

AMRUHP has clarified that a provisional seat allotment does not automatically establish a candidate’s right to admission. The final admission decision will depend on eligibility verification, the validity of submitted documents and approval by the concerned institute.

Candidates must also ensure that their seat allocation has been issued by AMRU. Admission will not be considered without the university’s seat allocation.
