The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam, has issued a revised admission schedule for Undergraduate (UG) Admissions 2026–27 under the Assam SAMARTH Admission Portal. The updated notification changes the timeline for CUET UG registration, merit list publication, counselling, and spot admissions.

According to the revised schedule, the registration and programme selection process for CUET-based admissions will now commence from 8 July 2026, instead of the previously announced 5 July 2026.

Spot Admission for Non-CUET Applicants

The Directorate has also announced that Final Registration-cum-Spot Admission for candidates without CUET UG scores will be conducted from 29 July to 31 July 2026.Eligible candidates will be able to register and participate in the final admission round subject to the admission policies of the participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

Admission Through Assam SAMARTH Portal

All UG admissions under the revised schedule will be processed through the Assam SAMARTH Admission Portal.
