The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has issued a revised schedule for UG Admissions 2026-27 under both CUET and Non-CUET categories. According to the latest notification, the registration and programme selection process for CUET applicants, originally scheduled to start on 5 July 2026, will now commence from 8 July 2026.

The admission process will be conducted online through the Assam SAMARTH Admission Portal, and all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and applicants have been advised to follow the revised timeline.Click here

Admission Through Assam SAMARTH Portal

All eligible candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes must complete the registration and admission process through the Assam SAMARTH Admission Portal within the prescribed schedule.

Applicants are advised to carefully fill in their programme preferences, verify all submitted information, and keep the required documents ready for verification and admission.

Important Instructions

Candidates should:

• Complete registration within the revised dates.
• Use the correction window, if required.
• Regularly check the merit lists and admission schedules.
• Participate in the spot admission round if eligible.
• Follow all instructions issued by their respective Higher Education Institutions.
