The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has officially revised the UG and Common PG Admission Schedule 2026–27 in view of the prevailing flood situation across the state. The revised notification has been issued following directions from the Higher Education Department, Government of Assam, to ensure that students affected by the floods receive adequate time to complete the admission process.

The updated schedule covers UG (CUET and Non-CUET), ITEP, Lateral Entry, and Common PG admissions, with revised dates for registration, merit-based admissions, spot admissions, and the commencement of academic sessions.

The revised timeline for Undergraduate admissions is as follows:

ITEP Admission Schedule Revised

For the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP):

• 2nd NCET Merit List Admission: 23–27 July 2026
• Final Registration & Spot Admission: 28 July–4 August 2026

Lateral Entry Admission Schedule

The revised schedule for Lateral Entry Admissions is:

Common PG Admission Timeline

The revised Common PG admission schedule is:

• Registration & Application: 24–30 July 2026
• Correction Window: 31 July 2026
• Application Scrutiny: 1–4 August 2026
• First Merit List: 5 August 2026
• Admission (First Merit): 6–7 August 2026
• Second Merit List: 8 August 2026
• Admission (Second Merit): 10–11 August 2026
• Spot Admission: 12–14 August 2026
