Assam University, Silchar has released an important notification for candidates applying for the B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026. As per the official notice, the B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026 will be conducted on 2 August 2026 (Sunday).

The university has advised all applicants to immediately verify the status of their B.Ed admission application forms. Candidates must ensure that their applications have been approved by their first preference college, as only approved applications will be eligible for admit card generation.

According to the notification, no admit card will be issued to candidates whose application status remains Pending, Under Approval, Rejected, or any other non-approved status.

Applicants whose applications have not yet been approved must contact their first preference college on or before 30 June 2026. The concerned college will verify the submitted documents and approve the application if the candidate is found eligible.

The university has also clarified that any request for correction, modification, or updating of application details can only be processed by the first preference college. Candidates requiring any changes in their submitted application forms must visit or contact their respective college before the deadline.

Assam University has further informed that no requests for application approval, correction, modification, or any related issue will be accepted after 30 June 2026. Candidates are therefore advised to complete all pending formalities well before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience during the admit card generation process.
