Assam University, Silchar has officially released the admission schedule for the second and final round of admissions to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and M.Tech programmes offered by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) under the Triguna Sen School of Technology (TSSOT) for the 2026-27 academic session.

Eligible candidates seeking admission through GATE, CUET, Non-CUET, or Lateral Entry routes can submit their online applications according to the notified schedule. This will be the final admission round for the current academic session.

Spot Admission for Vacant Seats

The university has clarified that a Spot Round Admission will be conducted only if seats remain vacant after completion of the waiting list admission process.

Eligible candidates must report to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, TSSOT, Assam University, Silchar on 7 August 2026 with all original documents for spot admission.

Reservation Policy

Admissions will be carried out in accordance with the Government of India (GOI) and Assam University reservation policy. Since this is the final round of admissions, conversion of reserved-category seats, if required, will be done as per the applicable reservation rules.
