The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued an extended schedule for Round 2 of the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (AYUSH), UGMAC (AYUSH) 2026. According to Advertisement No. BCECEB[UGMAC(AYUSH)]-2026/04, dated October 9, 2026, eligible NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates can participate in the online counselling process for admission to first-year Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) courses in government and private AYUSH colleges across Bihar.

The updated seat matrix was scheduled to be published on October 9, 2026. Online registration, submission of the application form-cum-choice filling, application data correction, and editing of choices for Round 2 will begin on October 10. The last date for registration, application submission with payment, and application data editing is October 13, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Candidates must complete choice filling, editing and locking by October 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Seven New Private Homoeopathic Medical Colleges Added

BCECEB has announced the addition of seven private homoeopathic medical colleges to the UGMAC AYUSH 2026 Round 2 counselling process following communication from the Bihar Health Department. Their inclusion is subject to the institutes obtaining affiliation for the 2026–2027 academic session in accordance with applicable rules.

The newly added colleges are:

1. Mangla Kamla Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Siwan

2. Maharshi Mehi Homoeo Medical College and Hospital, Katihar

3. Dr. Yaduvir Sinha Homoeo Medical College and Hospital, Darbhanga

4. Patna Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Patna

5. Kent Homoeo Medical College & Hospital, Hajipur, Vaishali

6. Dr. Ram Balak Singh Gaya Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Amwan, Gaya

7. Dr. Halim Homoeo Medical College & Hospital, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga

The board has uploaded the updated seat matrix to its official website. Candidates are advised to check the latest vacancy position before submitting or modifying their college and course preferences. Additional vacancies arising from resignation or other changes may also be published on the board's website.

Who Can Participate in Round 2 Counselling?

Eligible NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who meet the prescribed admission criteria can participate according to the conditions specified in the notice.

Candidates who did not register earlier, or registered but did not duly submit their application under the earlier advertisements, are invited to complete the required process. Candidates who participated in Round 1 but were not allotted a seat may also edit their previous choices and application data, where permitted.

Round 1 Freeze and Float candidates are also covered by the Round 2 rules, but their participation requirements differ:

• Freeze candidates: Must log in to their account and provide consent to participate in Round 2. Candidates who have already taken admission and do not resign or withdraw within the prescribed period, and do not provide consent for Round 2, will be treated as admitted candidates.

• Float candidates: May edit their previously submitted choices. If they do not edit their choices, Round 2 allotment will be processed using their previous choices.

• Candidates who resigned, withdrew, received Free Exit status, or had their Round 1 allotment cancelled due to a discrepancy: Must log in and fill in fresh choices to be considered for Round 2. Their earlier choices will become null and void.

• Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 1: May edit their previous choices and application data as permitted by the notice.

Candidates should carefully review the applicable instructions before confirming participation.

Important Rules for Application Correction and Consent

Candidates who need to correct application data should follow the instructions in the original UGMAC (AYUSH) 2026 advertisement dated September 18, 2026. Certain personal details, including the candidate's name, parents' names, date of birth, gender, disability quota details, mobile number, email ID, proof of identity and identity number, cannot be edited.

If an application correction results in an additional fee requirement, the candidate must pay the prescribed counselling fee and security deposit afresh. The previously paid amount will be refunded through the same payment mode, as stated in the notice.

Consent for Round 2 will be authenticated through the candidate's login password and an OTP sent to the registered mobile number or email ID.

How to Apply for Bihar UGMAC AYUSH Round 2 Counselling 2026

Candidates should visit the BCECEB official website and open the online portal for UGMAC (AYUSH) 2026. New applicants and candidates whose earlier applications were not duly submitted should complete registration and submit the application form-cum-choice filling within the specified deadline.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications should log in using their NEET UG 2026 roll number and password to provide consent, make any permitted payment, or edit their choices as applicable. Freeze and Float candidates must follow the specific instructions for their allotment status.

Before locking choices, candidates should check the revised seat matrix and arrange their college preferences carefully. After the provisional Round 2 allotment result is published on October 19, candidates should download their allotment orders within the specified period and complete document verification and admission between October 22 and October 23, 2026, as applicable.
