The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has revised the Round 1 counselling schedule for COMEDK UGET 2026 by extending the deadline for choice filling and choice locking for B.Tech admissions.

According to the revised schedule, eligible candidates can now add, edit, rearrange, and lock their preferred colleges and engineering branches until 24 July 2026 through the official COMEDK counselling portal. The extension provides aspirants with additional time to review their preferences before the first round of seat allotment.

Round 1 Seat Allotment on July 28

Following the extension of the option entry process, the Round 1 seat allotment result will now be declared on 28 July 2026. Candidates allotted seats will be required to complete the subsequent admission formalities, including decision making, fee payment, and reporting to the allotted institute, as per the counselling schedule.

Candidates Can Modify Their Preferences

Until the revised deadline, candidates may:

• Add new colleges and B.Tech branches.
• Edit or rearrange previously selected choices.
• Lock their final preference order before submission.
• Review the available seat matrix and fee details before finalising choices.

Important Advice for Candidates

COMEDK has advised candidates to complete the choice filling process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Candidates who leave their choice filling form blank will not be considered for the subsequent counselling process.
