The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has officially published the CSAB NEUT 2026 seat allocation schedule for admissions to Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy courses under the North Eastern States and Union Territories quota.According to the official schedule, online provisional registration is currently in progress and will continue until 25 July 2026, while choice filling will remain available until 28 July 2026 for successfully registered and verified candidates.

Choice Filling Process

Only candidates whose registration and document verification have been successfully completed will be allowed to fill their preferences.

Applicants are advised to:

• Fill maximum realistic choices.
• Carefully arrange institutes and branches in order of preference.
• Lock their choices before the deadline. If choices are not locked manually, the last saved choices will be automatically locked after the closing time.

Seat Acceptance Fee

Candidates allotted seats during Round 1 or Round 2 must complete online reporting by paying a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) of ?5,000 through the CSAB portal.

Candidates selecting the Freeze option can download the Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) and proceed for admission at the allotted institute according to the prescribed schedule.

Spot Round May Be Conducted

CSAB has clarified that a Spot Round, if required, will be conducted by the respective State Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Union Territory, or NERIST. Separate registration may be required for candidates participating in the Spot Round.
