Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has officially published the selected candidates list for the Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship (UGSRS) 2025 under the Nursing discipline.

According to the notification, nine fourth-year B.Sc. Nursing students from various affiliated nursing colleges across Andhra Pradesh have been selected to undertake research projects under the guidance of experienced faculty members.

Research Scholarship to Promote Undergraduate Research

The UGSRS programme aims to encourage undergraduate nursing students to participate in scientific research by undertaking community-based, clinical, and educational studies under the supervision of faculty guides.

The selected research projects cover important healthcare topics including:

• Cardiac arrest risk factor awareness
• Breastfeeding practices among postnatal mothers
• Active learning methods in nursing education
• Rainbow nutrition awareness
• Student wellness and exercise
• Compression Only Life Support (COLS) training
• Plastic waste hazards and safe disposal
• Diabetes and frozen shoulder
• Umbilical cord blood banking awareness

Research Projects Cover Public Health Issues

The approved research proposals focus on several public health and nursing education themes, including:
