Delhi University (DU) has published the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) UG 2026 simulated rank list on its undergraduate admission portal. The simulated ranks have been prepared based on candidates' CUET UG 2026 scores and the programme and college preferences submitted during the admission process. More than 2.06 lakh applicants can now view their tentative admission position before the first round of seat allocation.

The simulated rank list is intended to help candidates understand their likely admission prospects. It is not the final seat allotment, and candidates have been given an opportunity to review and modify their choices before the first official allocation.

Preference Modification Window Open

Following the release of the simulated ranks, Delhi University has opened the preference reordering window. During this period, candidates can:

• Change the order of programme preferences.
• Modify college preferences.
• Review their admission strategy based on the simulated rank.

Once the preference editing window closes, the submitted choices will be considered for the first round of seat allotment.

First Seat Allotment on July 16

According to the admission schedule, the first CSAS UG 2026 seat allotment is scheduled to be announced on 16 July 2026. Seat allocation will be based on:

• CUET UG 2026 score
• Candidate's programme and college preferences
• Category and reservation rules
• Availability of seats

Candidates Should Review Their Choices Carefully

Delhi University has advised applicants to carefully analyse their simulated rank before making any changes to their preferences. Candidates should complete all modifications within the prescribed deadline, as no further changes will be permitted before the first allotment round. They are also advised to regularly visit the official CSAS admission portal for updates regarding seat allotment, document verification, and admission schedules.Click here
