Gauhati University has commenced the online application process for the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2026 for admission to various postgraduate programmes offered by the university and its affiliated colleges for the 2026–27 academic session. According to the official admission schedule, the online application window will remain open until 13 July 2026 (11:55 PM). Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from 18 July 2026 onwards, and the offline entrance examination will be conducted on 21 July 2026. The university is expected to announce the entrance test results during the last week of July 2026.
