Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has extended the Round 1 online counselling schedule for multiple undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27. The decision has been announced through the latest notification issued on 17 June 2026.

The extension applies to programmes including LLM, LLB, BCA, B.Ed, BBA and Allied Programmes, BA (JMC), B.Tech, B.Com (H), B.Ed (Special Education), BA English (Hons.), and BA Economics (Hons.). However, the revised schedule does not apply to LE B.Tech (Diploma Holders) Programme Code 128.

According to the notification, candidates seeking admission through National Level Tests (NLT) such as CLAT and JEE Main can now complete fresh registration, counselling enrolment, fee payment, and document upload until 22 June 2026 (11:00 PM). The same deadline has been provided for eligible candidates applying through IPU CET 2026 for programmes such as BCA, B.Ed, BA (JMC), B.Com (H), BBA, BA English (Hons.), BA Economics (Hons.), and B.Ed (Special Education).

The university has also extended the choice filling and preference submission process. Candidates can now select and lock their preferred colleges and programmes until 23 June 2026 (11:59 PM). Choice filling is mandatory for participation in seat allotment.

In addition, GGSIPU has opened a correction and edit window for applicants. Candidates can modify permissible details in their application forms and upload updated educational or reserved category documents until 23 June 2026 (11:59 PM).

The university has separately informed candidates that the Round 1 result for LE B.Tech (Code 128) will be announced on 19 June 2026, and the subsequent counselling schedule for that programme will be published on the official website on the same day.

Candidates are advised to carefully review the admission brochure and complete all counselling-related activities before the revised deadlines to avoid missing the admission process.
