The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has commenced the UG Counselling 2026 process for admission to Undergraduate Agriculture and Allied Science programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. The counselling process is being conducted based on CUET (UG) 2026 scores through the official ICAR counselling portal.

According to the official schedule, candidates can now access their ICAR UG 2026 Merit Rank Card, view the participating universities' seat matrix, complete counselling registration, upload the required documents, and submit their preferred institute and course choices.

Rank Card and Choice Filling Now Available

Eligible candidates can now:

• Download the ICAR UG 2026 Merit Rank Card.
• Check the seat matrix of participating universities.
• Register for online counselling.
• Upload required documents.
• Fill and lock their preferred colleges and courses.

The choice filling and document upload window will remain open until 28 July 2026 (11:50 PM IST).

Important Counselling Dates

Round 1 Admission Process

Candidates allotted seats in the first round will be required to:

• Respond to university queries (if any).
• Re-submit documents, if requested.
• Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee.
• Download the Provisional Admission Letter.

The online document verification process for Round 1 will conclude on 2 August 2026, while the last date for fee payment is 3 August 2026 (8:00 PM).

Multiple Counselling Rounds Scheduled

ICAR will conduct four regular counselling rounds, followed by a Mop-Up/Final Round for vacant seats. Candidates are advised to carefully fill their choices and regularly monitor the official counselling portal for seat allotment results, document verification updates, and admission schedules.Click here
