The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the fresh admission deadline for the July 2026 academic session. The extension applies to admissions in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) as well as Online Programmes offered by the university.

According to the latest notification, candidates who have not yet completed the admission process can now apply online until 31 July 2026 through the official IGNOU admission portal. The extension has been provided to give aspiring students and working professionals additional time to complete their applications.
