The Joint Admissions Committee (JAC) for IISER Admissions 2026 has announced that the IISER 2026 counselling registration window will close today at 5:00 PM (IST). Candidates who have secured a valid IAT 2026 rank are required to complete the counselling registration, fill their preferred institute and programme choices, and submit the application before the deadline.

The counselling process is being conducted online for admission to the BS-MS Dual Degree, BS, and B.Tech. programmes offered by participating IISERs and other participating institutions.

Complete Registration Before the Deadline

Eligible candidates should log in to the official IISER Admissions portal and:

• Complete the counselling registration.
• Fill and arrange institute and programme preferences.
• Review all entered details carefully.
• Submit and lock their choices before 5:00 PM today.

Candidates who do not complete the registration and choice filling within the prescribed time will not be considered for the first round of seat allotment.

Seat Allotment Process

The IISER 2026 seat allotment will be prepared based on:

• IAT 2026 merit rank.
• Candidate's locked preferences.
• Seat availability.
• Eligibility criteria for the selected programme.

Candidates allotted seats will have to accept the offer and complete the admission formalities within the schedule notified by the Joint Admissions Committee.
