The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have officially announced the IISER 2026 counselling schedule for admission to BS-MS, BS, and B.Tech programmes offered by participating IISERs and other institutes through IAT 2026.

According to the official schedule, Round 1 admissions will commence on 24 July 2026 at 5:00 PM. Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round must complete all admission formalities, including seat acceptance, fee payment, and document verification, within the stipulated deadline to confirm their admission.

Round 1 Admission Begins on July 24

Candidates who successfully registered for IISER 2026 counselling and submitted their institute preferences will be able to check their Round 1 seat allotment through the official IISER admission portal.

After the allotment is announced, candidates should carefully review their allotted institute and programme before proceeding with the admission process.

Admission Formalities

Candidates receiving a seat in Round 1 will be required to:

• Accept the allotted seat online.
• Pay the prescribed seat acceptance fee.
• Upload and verify the required documents.
• Complete all admission formalities within the notified schedule.

Failure to complete these steps before the deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
