The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has officially announced the Round 1 seat allotment result for UP Polytechnic Admissions 2026. Candidates who participated in the first round of counselling can now check their allotted institute and course by logging into the official JEECUP counselling portal.

Candidates allotted a seat in the first round must complete the online admission formalities, including selecting the Freeze or Float option and paying the required security deposit and counselling fee within the stipulated timeline to retain their allotted seat.

Document Verification Schedule

Candidates choosing the Freeze option are required to report to the designated district help centres for document verification. According to the counselling schedule, document verification will continue until 6 July 2026 (up to 6:00 PM).

After successful verification, candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat can proceed with the admission process, while those opting for the Float option will remain eligible for higher preferences in subsequent counselling rounds.

Candidates should carefully follow these steps after checking the allotment result:

• Download the Round 1 seat allotment letter.
• Choose the Freeze or Float option online.

JEECUP counselling is being conducted for admission to diploma programmes offered by government, aided, and private polytechnic institutions across Uttar Pradesh.
