The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has published the Final Answer Key for the Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry Test (JELET) 2026. The revised answer key has been released after a detailed review of the objections raised by candidates against the provisional answer key.

According to the official notification dated 13 July 2026, the board has completed the post-examination verification process and finalized the answers for both JELET Paper I and JELET Paper II (Pharmacy).

Final Answer Key Released After Objection Review

WBJEEB stated that the provisional model answer keys were made available earlier in accordance with the JELET 2026 Information Bulletin, allowing candidates to challenge any discrepancies within the prescribed period.

After examining all valid representations, the board has prepared the final answer key, which will now be treated as the official basis for evaluation.

Result to Be Prepared Using Final Answer Key

The board has clarified that the JELET 2026 score calculation and merit ranking will be carried out strictly on the basis of the published final answer key. No further challenges or objections against the answer key will be accepted.

Candidates are advised to carefully review the final answers to estimate their expected scores before the declaration of results.

One Question Withdrawn

WBJEEB has also informed candidates that one question has been withdrawn, indicated by the symbol 'W' in the final answer key.

As per the board's policy, full marks for the withdrawn question will be awarded to all candidates who appeared in the examination, irrespective of the response marked.

Following the release of the final answer key, WBJEEB is expected to announce the JELET 2026 results and merit ranks shortly. Qualified candidates will subsequently participate in the counselling process for lateral entry admissions into engineering, technology, and pharmacy programmes offered by participating institutions in West Bengal.
