The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially published the provisional/model answer keys for the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2026, which was conducted on 13 June 2026 for admission into the second year (third semester) of four-year undergraduate engineering and technology programmes.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can log in to the official WBJEEB portal to access the provisional answer keys. If any candidate is not satisfied with the published answers, they can submit an online challenge through the candidate portal until 26 June 2026 (11:59 PM).Click here

According to the official notification, candidates can challenge any number of questions in a single submission. However, a non-refundable processing fee of 500 per question must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. Challenges without successful payment will not be considered.

WBJEEB has clarified that all submitted objections will be reviewed by subject experts, and the Board's decision on the final answer keys will be final and binding. No further requests, representations, or appeals regarding the answer keys will be entertained after the review process.

The Board also informed candidates that the final JELET 2026 scores and ranks will be prepared based on the revised/final answer keys after evaluating all valid objections.

Additionally, candidates have been advised to carefully verify the question booklet series by checking the symbol printed at the lower-right corner of Page 7 of their question booklet before comparing the answer keys to avoid confusion.
