The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially released the Round 2 seat allotment results for the 2026 counselling process. Candidates who participated in the counselling can now check their allotment status by logging into the official JoSAA portal using their application credentials.

Candidates who have received a seat for the first time in Round 2 must complete all admission formalities before the deadline to retain their allotted seat. These candidates are required to submit their willingness (Freeze, Float, or Slide), upload the necessary documents for verification, and pay the Seat Acceptance Fee by 5:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Mandatory Steps After Round 2 Allotment

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 should complete the following steps:

• Check the Round 2 allotment result on the JoSAA portal.
• Select one of the available options: Freeze, Float, or Slide.
• Upload all required documents for online verification.
• Pay the prescribed Seat Acceptance Fee.
• Respond to any document verification queries raised by the authorities within the stipulated timeline.

Failure to complete these steps before the deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat and the candidate may lose eligibility for further counselling rounds.
