The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced that the Round 5 online reporting process for the 2026 counselling session will conclude today. Candidates who received a seat allotment in the fifth round must complete all mandatory admission formalities before the reporting window closes.

The online reporting process includes seat acceptance, payment of the seat acceptance fee, uploading and verification of required documents, and responding to any queries raised by the verifying authority. Candidates who fail to complete these steps within the deadline may lose their allotted seat.

Round 5 Reporting Deadline

Candidates allotted seats in JoSAA Round 5 are required to:

• Accept the allotted seat through the JoSAA portal.
• Pay the prescribed seat acceptance fee.
• Upload and verify all required documents.
• Respond to document verification queries, if any, within the stipulated time.

Important for Allotted Candidates

Only candidates who successfully complete the online reporting process will remain eligible for admission under the current allotment. Those who do not complete the required formalities by the deadline may forfeit their allotted seat as per JoSAA counselling rules.
