The Karnataka Engineering Counselling Authority has released the provisional seat availability and fee structure for engineering admissions ahead of Round 1. The notification was issued on 29 June 2026 and includes college-wise and course-wise details for candidates participating in counselling.

The provisional seat matrix includes colleges from Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Belagavi, Hubballi, Tumakuru, Davangere, Hassan, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Mandya, Chikkaballapur, Bidar, and other districts.
Well-known institutions such as BMS College of Engineering, RV College of Engineering, M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, RNS Institute of Technology, PES institutions, and KLE Technological University are part of the list.

Candidates from the Kalyana Karnataka Region should check KKR seats carefully while filling choices. Since the matrix is provisional, seat numbers may change before or during counselling.
The fee structure varies widely across institutions. In many colleges, the total fee ranges from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh for select branches, while premier institutions may charge around Rs 2.35 lakh to Rs 3.22 lakh per year.
Some colleges have a total fee of Rs 3,22,000 for several branches, while others fall in the Rs 1,20,000 to Rs 1,70,000 range. Additional other fees may include amounts such as Rs 10,610, Rs 12,120, Rs 15,000, Rs 18,000, Rs 19,000, Rs 19,110, Rs 20,000, Rs 25,000, and Rs 31,360.
The notification also mentions that colleges with special skill lab facilities may charge an additional Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 per student per annum, subject to VTU approval. Applicable university fees may be charged separately.
