The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially announced the KCET 2026 Round 1 Mock Seat Allotment Result for candidates participating in the undergraduate counselling process. Candidates who completed the option entry process can now log in to the official KEA counselling portal using their application credentials to check their provisional seat allotment.

The mock seat allotment allows candidates to understand the college and course they are likely to receive based on their KCET 2026 rank, reservation category, seat availability, and the preferences submitted during counselling. Since this is only a mock allotment, it does not confirm admission and serves only as a reference before the final seat allotment.

Following the release of the mock allotment, KEA has reopened the option editing facility, enabling candidates to modify, rearrange, add, or delete their preferred colleges and courses. According to the counselling schedule, the option editing window will remain available until 9 July 2026, after which the final Round 1 seat allotment will be prepared based on the revised preferences.

Candidates are advised to carefully review their provisional allotment and update their preferences, if required, before the deadline. After the option editing period closes, KEA will publish the final Round 1 Seat Allotment Result, which will determine admission to engineering and other professional courses offered through KCET counselling.Click here.
