The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Madhya Pradesh, has announced an extension of the UG, PG and NCTE programme admission deadline for the 2026–27 academic session. Eligible candidates can now complete the admission process until 31 July 2026.
According to the department, the decision has been taken to accommodate students who are currently participating in professional entrance counselling for engineering, pharmacy, medical, management and other technical programmes. The extension will ensure that candidates receive sufficient time to finalize their admission after counselling.
Students seeking admission to Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and NCTE-approved teacher education programmes can continue registering and completing the admission process through the official higher education admission portal until 31 July 2026.
The extension is expected to benefit thousands of students awaiting counselling results before confirming their admission in higher education institutions across Madhya Pradesh.
The Higher Education Department has informed that more than 4.23 lakh students have already secured admission in various government and private colleges across the state during the ongoing admission process.
The department expects the admission figures to increase further following the extension of the registration deadline.
