The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has officially commenced the CAP Admission 2026 process for admission to the Five-Year Full-Time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme for the 2026–27 academic session. Admissions will be conducted for government, government-aided, university-managed, and private architecture colleges, including minority institutions, across Maharashtra.

Eligible candidates can register online through the official admission portal from 14 July to 24 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).

Registration and Document Verification

Candidates must complete online registration and choose one of the following verification modes:

• E-Scrutiny Mode: Online verification without visiting a Scrutiny Centre.
• Physical Scrutiny Mode: Candidates must visit the selected Scrutiny Centre or Facilitation Centre for document verification.

The document verification and application confirmation process will be conducted from 15 July to 25 July 2026.

B.Arch Admission Eligibility

To be eligible for admission, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the approved optional subjects, securing at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category, EWS and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra).

OR

• Passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with the required qualifying marks.

In addition, candidates must have qualified either:

• NATA 2026, or
• JEE Main Paper 2 (Architecture Aptitude Test) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Application Fee

Candidates who are required to pay the registration fee must pay online:

• INR 1,300 – General and All India candidates.
• INR 1,000 – Reserved category, EWS, PwD, Orphan and Transgender candidates belonging to Maharashtra.

CAP Counselling Schedule to Be Announced

The CET Cell has informed candidates that the detailed CAP option entry, seat allotment schedule, and counselling rounds will be announced separately after publication of the final merit list.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official admission portal for updates regarding option filling, seat allotment, institute reporting, and admission deadlines.

• Complete registration before the deadline.
• Upload all required documents correctly.
• Resolve discrepancies during the grievance period.
• Ensure eligibility before applying.
• Keep original certificates ready for verification.
