The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has issued an important notification regarding the admission process for Direct Second-Year Engineering and Direct Second-Year Pharmacy Degree programmes for the 2026–27 academic session.

According to the official notice dated 24 July 2026, candidates whose final-year diploma results were not declared before the application deadline will now be allowed to complete their online registration, document upload, and application confirmation during the designated Grievance Period.

The decision has been taken after receiving multiple requests from students and parents seeking additional time due to the delayed declaration of diploma final-year results.

Grievance Period Schedule

The CET Cell has announced the following grievance submission schedule:

Relief for Diploma Final-Year Students

Candidates whose diploma final-year results were unavailable before the registration deadline can now:

• Complete online registration.
• Upload scanned copies of required documents.
• Confirm their application.
• Participate in the admission process during the specified grievance period.

However, the CET Cell has clarified that no additional grievance period will be provided beyond the dates announced in the notification.

Candidates Advised to Complete Formalities on Time

Eligible applicants should complete all registration and document submission formalities within the prescribed grievance period. They are also advised to regularly check the official CET Cell website for updates regarding:

• Merit list publication
• Document verification
• Seat allotment
• CAP counselling schedule
