The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has officially extended the last date for Engineering Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 registration. Candidates seeking admission to BE and B.Tech programmes can now complete their online registration and application process until 16 July 2026.

According to the CET Cell, the registration deadline has been extended after applicants experienced technical difficulties while accessing and submitting their online application forms. The extension is intended to ensure that all eligible candidates receive sufficient time to complete the admission process.

Registration Deadline Extended

Eligible candidates who have not yet completed their application can:

• Register through the official Maharashtra CET Cell admission portal.
• Fill in the online application form.
• Upload the required documents.
• Complete the application within the revised deadline.

Candidates who have already registered may also use the extended period to complete any pending formalities, if applicable.

Reason for Extension

The CET Cell stated that the extension has been provided in response to technical issues reported by candidates during the registration process. Applicants are advised not to wait until the final day and should complete their applications well before the revised deadline.Click here
