The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Manipur, has issued the schedule and instructions for Round 3 of Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026–27. The notification, issued in Imphal on October 8, 2026, under reference number DME-18/1/2026-HEALTH, directs all eligible candidates to fill in and lock their seat choices through the official web-based counselling application.

Round 3 counselling will cover State Government quota seats for MBBS, BDS and Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) courses at RIMS, JNIMS, SAHS, CMC and RDC Guwahati. It will also cover MBBS Management Quota and NRI Quota seats at SAHS.

According to the announced schedule, registration and choice filling or locking will take place from October 8 to October 11, 2026. The Round 3 merit list is scheduled to be published on the morning of October 14, while the seat allotment result is scheduled for the evening of the same day. Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between October 14 and October 15, 2026, and complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed period.

The Directorate has clarified that candidates who have already registered in an earlier counselling round do not need to register again. However, fresh choice filling and choice locking are compulsory for every candidate participating in Round 3. Choices submitted during previous rounds will not be valid for this round.

NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who did not register in any earlier round may undertake fresh registration, provided they satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements and pay the prescribed fees. Candidates should read the official registration instructions and standard operating procedure before completing the process.

Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026 Round 3: Important Dates

Candidates should complete their choices and locking within the notified timeline. The merit list will be prepared from eligible candidates who successfully fill and lock their choices, subject to document verification and fulfilment of the applicable eligibility criteria.

Courses and Quotas Covered in Round 3

The notification covers the following admissions:

• State Government Quota: MBBS, BDS and BASLP seats at RIMS, JNIMS, SAHS, CMC and RDC Guwahati, as applicable to each course.

• Management Quota: MBBS seats at SAHS.

• NRI Quota: MBBS seats at SAHS.

The Directorate has stated that the available seat matrix for Round 3 will be notified separately. Candidates should check the subsequent seat matrix before making their final choices.

Manipur Medical Counselling 2026 Registration Fees

The notice specifies the following non-refundable application fees for candidates undertaking fresh registration in Round 3. The source notice contains OCR inconsistencies in the fee figures, so candidates should verify the exact amounts against the original official notification before making payment.

In addition to the application fee, candidates are required to pay a refundable security fee of Rs. 15,000 for all categories. According to the notification, this amount will be refunded after completion of all counselling rounds, subject to fulfilment of the applicable conditions.

Candidates who registered in previous rounds will not be charged a separate fee for choice filling in the web application.

No Float or Freeze Option in Round 3

The Directorate has clarified that there will be no Float or Freeze option in Round 3. Candidates must carefully review their choices and understand the consequences of the allotment before participating.

Candidates who receive a fresh seat in Round 3, retain a seat allotted in an earlier round without upgradation, or are upgraded from a Float seat must physically report to the allotted institute during the prescribed reporting period. They must also complete all admission formalities required by the institute.

Candidates who fail to fill and lock their choices within the prescribed timeline will not be considered for Round 3 seat allotment.

How to Participate in Manipur Medical e-Counselling Round 3

Candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official Manipur Medical e-Counselling application at https://manipurmc.mn.gov.in.

2. If you have not registered in any previous round, complete fresh registration after checking the eligibility conditions and fee requirements.

3. Candidates registered in earlier rounds should log in using their existing credentials.

4. Fill in fresh seat choices according to the available seats, course preferences and applicable eligibility.

5. Lock the choices before the October 11, 2026 deadline.

6. Check the merit list on October 14 and the seat allotment result scheduled for the evening.

7. If allotted or required to retain a seat, report to the allotted institute within the prescribed period and complete admission formalities.
