The Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipur University, has published the provisional selection list of GATE-qualified candidates for admission to its M.Tech programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The notification was issued on 19 June 2026 under Notice No. 3/1/2026-MIT/B.E. & M-TECH.According to the official notice, a total of four candidates have been provisionally selected for admission in various M.Tech specialisations based on their GATE scores.

M.Tech 2026 Provisional Selection List

The provisionally selected candidates are:

• Khullakpam Albab Shah (OBC) – Structural Engineering (Civil Engineering)
• Lewis Thongam (UR) – Computer Science & Engineering
• Konjengbam Mahesh Singh (SC) – Computer Science & Engineering (SC certificate verification pending)
• Somokanta Hijam (OBC) – Microelectronics & VLSI (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

The institute has clarified that the admission of selected candidates is provisional and subject to verification of all required documents. Candidates whose certificates require verification must complete the process as instructed by the institute.

Admission Fee Payment Deadline

All provisionally selected candidates are required to pay the admission fee of  39,450 on or before 30 June 2026.

The fee must be paid online by logging into the Samarth Admission Portal using the candidate's registered login credentials.

Failure to complete the fee payment within the prescribed deadline may result in cancellation of the provisional admission.
