The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the schedule for Round 3 of NEET MDS Counselling 2026 for the academic year 2026. According to the announced schedule, participating institutes will verify the tentative seat matrix on October 21, 2026. Registration and payment will begin on October 22, followed by choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and reporting.

NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Round 3 Important Dates

The Round 3 counselling schedule includes the following important dates and deadlines.

Registration and Fee Payment Window

Registration for Round 3 will be available from October 22 to October 27, 2026. Candidates must complete their registration by 3:00 PM on October 27.

The payment facility will remain open until 6:00 PM on October 27, 2026. Candidates should complete the registration and fee payment within the prescribed timelines to participate in the next stages of counselling.

Choice Filling and Locking Dates

The choice-filling window will open on October 23, 2026, and remain available until 11:55 PM on October 28.

Candidates can select their preferred MDS colleges and courses during this period. Choice locking will take place on October 28, from 2:00 PM to 11:55 PM.

Candidates should review their preferences carefully and ensure that their choices are locked before the deadline. They should not wait until the final minutes to complete the process.

NEET MDS Round 3 Seat Allotment Result

MCC has scheduled the processing of seat allotment for October 29 and 30, 2026. The Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on October 31, 2026.

Candidates should check the official counselling portal for the result and follow the instructions issued for the next stage.

Reporting to Allotted Colleges

Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 must complete the reporting process between November 1 and November 7, 2026.

They should follow the reporting instructions issued by MCC and the allotted institute, including requirements for document verification and admission formalities. Candidates are advised to keep their original documents and relevant admission records ready.
