The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will send official examination updates and examination centre information through its verified WhatsApp account for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination scheduled on 21 June 2026. The initiative aims to provide candidates with authentic information directly and reduce confusion caused by fake messages and misinformation.

According to the official press release, candidates will receive updates only from NTA's verified WhatsApp number: +91 7827980287. Students have been advised to check for the blue verified tick and the official display name "National Testing Agency" before trusting any message. NTA clarified that its WhatsApp service is broadcast-only, meaning it will never ask candidates to reply, share OTPs, provide personal information, or make any payment.

The agency has also reminded candidates that a fresh admit card has been issued for the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination on 21 June 2026. The admit card issued for the 3 May 2026 examination is no longer valid. Candidates must download the latest admit card only from the official NEET website by typing the website address directly into their browser rather than using forwarded links.

NTA has issued a strong advisory against fraudsters claiming to provide question papers, answer keys, leaked papers, or demanding payments through links or QR codes. Candidates who receive suspicious messages can report them through the official NEET grievance portal, while victims of online fraud should immediately contact the National Cyber Crime Helpline (1930) or report the incident on the cybercrime portal.

The National Testing Agency has urged all candidates to rely only on official communication channels and wished aspirants success in the upcoming NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination.
