The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a change in the examination centre for candidates scheduled to appear for NEET UG 2026 at the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, on 21 June 2026.
According to the official public notice issued on 18 June 2026, the venue has been shifted due to ongoing construction work and non-availability of electricity at the originally allotted examination centre. Based on the recommendations of the District Level Committee and the District Administration, the examination will now be conducted at the Department of Medieval and Modern History, Senate House Campus, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.
The NTA has issued fresh admit cards for all affected candidates. Students can download their updated admit cards by logging into the official NEET UG website using their application credentials.
The agency has also clarified that candidates carrying the old admit card mentioning the previous examination centre will still be allowed to appear at the new examination venue, subject to necessary verification at the centre.
Candidates facing any difficulty while downloading the revised admit card can contact the NTA Help Desk for assistance. The agency has advised all aspirants to regularly check the official NTA and NEET UG websites for the latest examination updates.Click here.
