Shillong, Meghalaya | June 19, 2026: The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has issued a corrigendum to its Admission 2026 notification, announcing a significant change in the selection process for the Linguistics programme.
As per the revised notification, admissions to the Linguistics course will now be based on CUET scores and other NEHU admission criteria, replacing the previously announced university entrance test.
The change has been made following a request from the Department of Linguistics and applies to the ongoing 2026 admission process.
