The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh, has published the tentative counselling-cum-admission schedule for candidates selected or waitlisted through NEPGET 2026 for postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes.

Counselling Schedule

The counselling schedule is as follows:

• PG Courses (MBA & M.Sc.) – 10 July 2026 (Friday), 9:30 AM onwards
• PG Courses (M.Tech.) – 11 July 2026 (Saturday), 9:30 AM onwards
• Ph.D. Programmes (Full-Time & Part-Time) – 17 July 2026 (Friday), 9:30 AM onwards
• Second Round of PG Counselling (if seats remain vacant) – 13 July 2026 (Monday), 9:30 AM onwards
• On-Spot Admission for UG/PG Courses (subject to vacancies) – 15 July 2026 (Wednesday), 9:30 AM onwards

Registration Process

Qualified candidates must register through the online counselling portal beginning 28 June 2026 and pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ?1,500. After completing the registration process, candidates must submit the counselling form at least one day before their counselling date.

The institute has clarified that no separate counselling letter will be sent by post. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official NERIST and NEE Online admission portals for updates regarding counselling and admission.

NERIST has also released the tentative admission and hostel fee structure for MBA, M.Sc., M.Tech., and Ph.D. programmes. Admission and hostel fees must be paid through digital mode only during the counselling-cum-admission process.

Candidates should carry all required original documents and report to the counselling venue as per the allotted schedule to complete the admission formalities.Click here
